Fribourg will be the second cycle of Infrastructural Baukultur (2026-2027). Our work there will build on the research already done by the ALICE laboratory in the region through the ENAC Fribourg funded project SURFACE, wherein the urban surface of cantonal roads is considered as a socioecological interface linking the natural rhythms of the soil and the territory and the programming of new sociocultural uses for healthier lifestyles. With our partners in the region, we will work in the Route de Belfaux as it traverses the Commune of Givisiez, and the Route de la Fonderie in the city of Fribourg.
